- Drea Melbourne Added October 15, 2017★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆This place was average. The food was actually pretty nice, at a pub standard. The atmosphere is very bistro with one large impersonal feeling room. We were happy enough to eat there until we were rudely barked at by a gruff blond headed woman behind the bar, with absolutely no tact what so ever we were told we had walked through the wrong door to enter the restaurant section. Some of the staff there were nice enough, but most walked around with scowling faces, seemingly bored and not wishing to interactive with customers. I guess because they don’t have to take your order they feel they don’t need to put on a smile. I won’t go back, but not because of the food, ‘compliments to the chef’. It would strictly be because of the unacceptable rudeness of the woman behind the bar. If you appreciate good service then I advise giving this one a miss!

Has been terrible in the past but a new menu with simple but satisfyingly tasty choices and a competent proud kitchen team seems to be working well and trackside is making a come back.
I am a fan of the garlic bread ,and smoked chicken salad and other family members taking well to the parma and snitzel options.
Desserts are great as always and food is being served with minimal wait time and hot fresh and enjoyable cooked to perfection with good lingering flavour combinations present each mouthful.
Only complaint is they need to be giving steak knives for almost all meals, two well rounded amazing dining experiences of late and i will be back hoping for a 3rd great night of country dining racing and gaming at trackside soon. - Leigh Ware Added September 03, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Food wasn't up to scrath and way over priced
